Promotion Terms and Conditions For £40 On Us In-store
The promotion (“Promotion”) offers Travelex Plus members to receive either an additional £20 or £40 worth of foreign currency when purchasing and loading a new Travelex Money Card (“TMC”) in-store, subject to the specific purchase criteria described below.
By participating in this Promotion, you confirm that you accept and agree to these T&Cs. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with the Promotion and inform our staff accordingly.
The Promotion starts when the Travelex Retail Stores open on 01 April 2025 and ends at store closure on 21 April 2025, starts when the Travelex Retail Stores open on 10 May 2025 and ends at store closure on 20 May 2025 and starts when the Travelex Retail Stores open on 16 June 2025 and ends at store closure on 1st September 2025 (“Promotion Period”). Store opening and closing times vary by location. Stores may close unexpectedly due to some circumstances.
The Promotion is open only to customers who are 18 years of age or older and UK residents.
This Promotion is open exclusively to Travelex Plus members purchasing and loading a new Travelex Money Card. If you already hold a Travelex Money Card, you are not eligible for this Promotion.
To receive an extra £20 worth of foreign currency, you must load foreign currency equivalent to a minimum of £300 and a maximum of £599.99 in a single in-store purchase.
To receive an extra £40 worth of foreign currency, you must load foreign currency equivalent to a minimum of £600 or more in a single in-store purchase.
The promotional amount will be loaded onto your new Travelex Money Card in the first foreign currency you purchase at the time of the transaction. If you load multiple currencies during the same transaction, you must specify which currency you would like the promotional amount to be loaded in. The promotional amount is not available in cash and cannot be converted or redeemed as cash.
Pound Sterling (GBP) is excluded from all aspects of this Promotion. Purchases of Pound Sterling do not count towards the spend criteria, and the promotional amount cannot be loaded in Pound Sterling.
The promotional amount may only be loaded in one of the following currencies (subject to availability in the relevant store on the date of purchase): US dollars, Euros, Australian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars, Canadian Dollars, South African Rand, Turkish Lira, Swiss Francs, UAE Dirhams, Mexican Peso, Polish Zloty, Swedish Krona, Czech Koruna, Japanese Yen, Thai Baht, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Danish Krone, Norwegian Krone, Hungarian Forint, and Icelandic Krona.
This Promotion cannot be transferred or exchanged for any other form of compensation, credit, or monetary value.
This Promotion applies only to purchases made in-store at Travelex Retail Stores during the Promotion Period.
We reserve the right to suspend, amend, or cancel this Promotion or these T&Cs at any time if we have a valid reason (for example, to correct errors, comply with legal requirements, or address circumstances outside our reasonable control). If we make any significant changes that adversely affect you after you have already qualified, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
We are not responsible for any failure to complete a qualifying transaction due to technical faults or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
These T&Cs must be read together with the applicable Travelex Plus T&Cs (available at https://www.travelex.co.uk/offers/travelex-plus-terms-and-conditions) and the TMC T&Cs (available at travelex-money-card-terms-and-conditions.pdf). In the event of any conflict between these T&Cs and the Travelex Plus T&Cs or TMC T&Cs, the relevant Travelex Plus T&Cs or TMC T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.
